ALL GOODS ARE HIRED ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY ARE RETURNED TO US IN AN UNDAMAGED CONDITION, THE CUSTOMER UNDERTAKING TO BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM UNTIL THEY ARE RETURNED. HIRES MUST BE RETURNED IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE, ANY HIRES MORE THAN TWO DAYS OVERDUE WILL BE CHARGED FOR HALF THE HIRE FEE EXTRA PER DAY.
We reserve the right to charge for repairs to garments returned in a heavily soiled or damaged condition, where it is not possible the customer will be asked to pay for the garments. Damaged top hats will be charged at the replacement rate of £70.00.
If customers are caught in the rain we ask you to allow the suit to dry naturally on a hanger away from excessive heat and to return the suit to us without making an attempt to repress. The laundering of dress shirts is included in the hire price.
Children’s Fitting
We recommend children’s hirewear is fitted three to five weeks before the event due to their rapid growth.
Proof of Identity
Proof of identity including address is required before hire orders can be collected.
Checking Your Order
Customers are responsible for checking and fitting on garments as soon as possible after collection to ensure complete satisfaction. We will be happy to rectify or exchange the garments if required.
Deposits
No deposits are charged on full suit hires providing payment is made with cheque, debit card, credit card or account. Payment with cash requires comprehensive identification and we reserve the right to charge a cash deposit. Certain items are hired individually only against returnable deposit as follows:
The deposit will be returned in full upon safe undamaged return of the items.
Hires for May Day will require £100.00 deposit.
All hire suits are available for sale, we will be pleased to quote for individual items upon request.

We take no responsibility for items/valuables accidentally left in hire garments on goods returned.

When ordering by post please state your height, collar, chest, waist, inside and outside leg and your hat size if required.
Insurance
Insurance at a cost of £9.99 per outfit is available at the time of order to cover any accidental damage or soiling. This does not cover loss or theft. All prices include VAT.
Suits are available to hire on demand from our excellent stock. Hires must be returned after use by the following working day.
50% extra charge for one week hire and 50% extra charge for each additional week.
