What does our personal tailoring service offer?

There are so many avenues to explore. You may be looking for a suit for your everyday, or a special occasion. Or perhaps a timeless blazer for those meetings where you wish to be smart and impactful! Maybe you have a special day looming and are in need of a waistcoat or some morning wear?

Perhaps, you need a sharp dinner suit or velvet jacket for that special event on the calendar? Or, with the relentless winter commuting, you want an overcoat to keep out the chill.

Whatever your requirements, we can personally reassure you that at Walters we are on hand to serve, and personally tailor the garments that you are in need of.

What are the customisation options?

We think made-measure-suits are so special because of how they can be styled in such detail to represent your personality and style- even the seemingly small things make such a difference.

The customised options that Walters can offer, and examples of which can be exhibited by your tailor are:

• Pocket styles: slanted/straight/ticket pocket.
• Buttons: different colours, sizes and compositions.
• Lapel styles: notched/ peak or shawl.

What does the process look like, step by step?

1. 1. Initial Consultation
      Your first consultation will be with our specialist, Tom, who has over 10 years of experience, including work in London’s West End. He brings a wealth of expertise to guide and direct you through the process.
   2. Discussion of Preferences
      During the initial appointment, Tom will discuss your preferences, including the type of cloth, styling, and any specific details you desire for your garment. You will also be measured to ensure a perfect fit.
   3. Lead Time
      After the consultation and measurements, there will be a lead time of 6-8 weeks for the creation of your garment.
   4. Fitting Appointment
      Once your garment is ready, you will be invited back to Walters for a fitting. You will try on your custom-tailored piece to ensure it fits perfectly and meets your expectations.
   5. Final Garment Review
      At the end of the process, we are confident that you will be thrilled with your new garment. Your tailored piece will be a timeless addition to your wardrobe, serving you well for many years.
