Scholars (Exhibitioner) Gown
A scholar’s gown is worn by any undergraduate who has been awarded a scholarship by an Oxford college.
Some colleges give special permission to exhibitioners also to wear this gown.
The scholar’s gown is in full style with a gathered stiffened yoke behind and short open sleeves.
The gown should reach to the wearer’s knees. A square cap is worn or a soft cap if preferred.
