Bachelor of Letters B. Litt. and Bachelor of Science B.SC. (Not Illustrated). A gown as described above. The hood of Dean Burgon shape is of steel blue corded silk or poplin with white fur fabric. A square cap is worn or for women, a soft cap if preferred. These degrees have been superseded by the Master of Letters and Master of Science. The blue colour of this hood is similar to that used for the above mentioned hoods.
